Music Genome Review

2. A) Identify your chosen musical genre & B) say why you chose it. Metal. My favorite genre

3. Describe your process...how did you go about finding your songs and information? I knew about half the stuff, and googled the rest.

4. What different kinds of technology did you use to compile your project? [Web tools, Mac tools, etc...] Quick time, Chrome, iMovie

5. What are you good at...what went well for you in this project? Good transitions. Good choice of music

6. With what did you struggle on this project...what was difficult for you? Timing up music videos with songs.
7. Did you decide to use still slides? Why or why not?  [If not, how did you convey your information? For some info slides, and a picture yes. To change it up.
8. For what other classes, situations, uses could this type of project be adapted? No idea.

9. What new techniques or technology tools did you use in this project that you've never used before?  Be specific. I used some different transitions and some unique tools in iMovie.

10. How did your project use the transformative property of borrowed images, music, and information to comply with the Copyright Law of 1976?[...not just that you cited the information, etc., but how did you transform the music, information, images, etc.? Edited a few images and videos.

11. Would you do another project like this on your own? Why? Why not? Yeah. I enjoy music, and I like creative projects.

Culture Movie Reflection

Excellent. I should have edited, but i did not. But i did help start with many of the topics.

I gathered information, and would have edited but alas, i was sick.

Very Active. I helped manage the group and helped keep it organized. I contributed several ideas.

It is unique and covers a wide variety of topics.

F. If you were going to make any changes to your movie, what would they be?

Better transitions.

Podcast Movie Review

2. What tools and techniques did you use to create your podcast?
I used the trimming technique and used my X11 Earforce headset.
3.  How could you use a project like this in other classes?
To make projects and voiceovers.
4.  In the “real world,” how could podcast projects be used (In what careers/businesses, etc.)? To do voiceovers for a presentation.
5.  In this project, what did you get good at doing?
Clipping voice pieces together

6. What was the most difficult part of the assignment?
Citing the pictures for it.

7. How did your project use the transformative property of borrowed images, music, and information to comply with the Copyright Law of 1976?
[...not just that you cited the information - citing is not enough...tell me how you transformed what you've taken into something new, etc., How did you transform the music, information, images, etc.?
I photoshopped a few of the images, i edited a few clips to make an outstanding project.

8.  Would you do a project like this on your own?  
Yes. I have always wanted to do a regular podcast.

9. If you were going to make any changes/improvements on your podcast what would it/they be?  ...and why?
I would add background music from the movie.

Iphoto Reflection

Yeah. Its two days late. Sorry >.<

2. List the search terms (words) that you used to find images (for the letters of your name and the images that describe you) and why?

I mainly typed in the letter I needed ala "a".
Unless I was looking for a specific letter such as the "s" in the heart. For that I looked up "Mystery skateboard logo"
3. What skills did you use/learn in this project?
I learned that you can make a movie/slideshow in powerpoint

4. Describe how you might use these skills and apply them to a real-world situation.
For making virtual photo albums/scrapbooks.

5. This was a more creative project than our first 2. Did you prefer it or the more cut and dry assignments in Word and Excel?
YES. I love being able to create my own things, and to be left on my own devices to make a more interesting

I cropped some pictures, added tones, and retouched the photos to transform them for my uses.

Mail Merge Reflection

3. How did you get the audience’s attention in the first paragraph?
 I drew their attention to the devastating losses in Japan

4. What skills did you use/learn in this project?
I learned how to merge Excel and Word
5. What was the easiest part of this project? What was the most difficult part of this project?

The easiest was writing the paper. The hardest was the adding all the contacts to excel.

6. Describe how you might use these skills and apply them to a real-world situation other than writing a charity letter.
I might use this for a business letter, or how the school uses it for mass letters.
7. Did you learn something new during this project that you did not know before?  If so, what? 
I learned how to merge the letters.

I used the auto-sum, the average button, i also used the auto-graph function.

I learned how to use the auto-sum button.

I added colors to the words and the pie chart.
6.  What are some other uses you may have for a simple excel spreadsheet?
To calculate buisness earnings, revenue, and royalties.

3.) The photo below shows my life. In my free time I listen to music and game. And the ten represents the years I've been playing music and when I first got into gaming. Metal, Alternative, and Alt. Punk are my favorite genres. FP Shooters, Sports, TP Action games, and Platformer/Puzzle games are my favorite game types.
